Addiction treatment and compulsive patterns

Individual psychological work and structured online learning for addiction and recurring compulsive behaviours.

What we explore

Sessions explore the role a substance or behaviour plays in a person's life, the circumstances around its use and the concerns or goals they bring. The work considers emotional, behavioural and relational context.

What the work involves

The approach may involve assessment, understanding patterns, change planning and relapse prevention. The separate Addiction Program combines ten private 90-minute online psychology sessions with twelve months of included learning and tools. Clinical suitability is assessed individually.

Online sessions and suitability

Sessions are delivered online for people in Melbourne, Victoria and elsewhere in Australia, subject to suitability and professional requirements. The service is male-focused, not male-exclusive. The first step is to discuss the support being sought and whether this setting is appropriate.
