Privacy Policy

Mentor Psychology respects the privacy of people who use our psychology services, programs, courses and website. This policy explains how personal information is handled across our website and member platform.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Mentor Psychology, we may collect your name, contact details, account details, course enrolments and progress, event registrations, purchases, administrative booking requests, enquiries and information you choose to provide through website forms.

Clinical and health information

Clinical records, therapy notes, formal assessments, treatment information and telehealth records are managed through Mentor Psychology's separate clinical practice-management and telehealth systems. They are not stored in the website member/course platform described here. Information you provide directly in a clinical context is handled under the privacy and professional obligations applying to psychological services.

How information is used

Personal information is used to administer accounts, provide purchased or enrolled programs, manage events and bookings, respond to enquiries, process payments, maintain security and meet legal, professional and administrative obligations. Health information is not used for direct marketing unless the required consent has been obtained.

Service providers

Mentor Psychology uses specialist technology providers to operate its website and member services, including hosting, authentication/database, payment and email providers. Information is disclosed to service providers only as reasonably required to provide those functions and subject to their applicable privacy and security arrangements. Some providers may process or store information outside Australia.

Security and retention

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it is held and applicable legal or professional requirements.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information Mentor Psychology holds about you. You may also raise a privacy concern or complaint. Requests can be made through the Contact page or by emailing inquiry@good-psychology.com. We may need to verify your identity before providing access or making changes.

Anonymous enquiries

You may browse the public website without creating an account. In some circumstances you may make a general enquiry without providing all identifying information, although identification may be necessary where it is impracticable to provide the requested service anonymously.
