Mentor Psychology

Addiction Program

A structured ten-month online psychology program combining individual sessions with guided learning and practical tools.

Program structure

Guidance, psychological treatment and structured learning.

The program is facilitated by a registered psychologist with extensive experience working with addiction and related behavioural patterns. It is trauma-informed and draws on established, evidence-informed psychological approaches. Treatment is adapted to the individual rather than presented as a guaranteed or uniform pathway.

Individual psychology

10 × 90-minute sessions

Ten private online sessions delivered over approximately ten months. Sessions are scheduled by agreement to suit the participant, usually beginning at intervals of around four to six weeks and moving to monthly sessions as appropriate.

Online learning

12 months of Lighthouse

Twelve months access to the Lighthouse online addiction course, covering patterns and reinforcement, emotion and needs, triggers, trauma-informed understanding, identity, habits, relationships, lapses and maintaining change.

Ongoing tools

Compass app + supervision tool

Twelve months access to The Compass app and the program supervision tool to support reflection, planning and discussion between scheduled sessions.

Delivery

Private and online

Sessions are conducted online and scheduled by agreement. Clinical records and telehealth remain within Mentor Psychology's separate secure clinical systems rather than the website/member platform.

Fee

$3,300

The program fee includes the ten individual sessions and twelve months access to the included online learning and tools.

Medicare

Rebates may be available

Medicare rebates may be available for eligible psychology sessions when there is an appropriate referral and current Medicare requirements are met. Eligibility and rebate arrangements should be confirmed for the individual circumstances.

The program does not promise a particular outcome and may not be suitable for every person or every form of addiction. Suitability, treatment needs, risks and other care options are considered individually. Urgent medical, withdrawal or crisis needs require appropriate immediate health services rather than this program.
