Adam Blanch
Psychologist, author and training facilitator
Adam Blanch is a registered Australian psychologist since 2013, and a therapist since 1986. He draws on 40 years of clinical experience, with a focus on trauma, identity and wellbeing.
Adam Blanch is the psychologist behind Mentor Psychology. His work with men spans emotional, behavioural, relational and life concerns. His approach is collaborative, solution-focused and trauma-informed, drawing on experience across more than 40 therapeutic approaches. He also writes and facilitates training on trauma, identity and wellbeing. Adam has studied and practiced over 40 types of therapy including somatic therapies, Congitive therapies and Trauma therapies. He mainly employs Narrative therapy, embodiment work, emotion focused therapy, memory revisioning and EMDR therapy these days. Adam has worked in prisons, AOD rehabilitation, family services, mental health rehabilitation, personality disorder programs and private practice. He conducts training across Australia in psychosocial hazard prevention, trauma treatment and workplace wellbeing. Adam is the author of 'The Life Compass' and is currently writing 'The Trauma Compass' and 'The Man Compass'. He has also developed an online app called 'The Life Compass App', covering online courses and tools for health, wealth, goal setting and mental health, which you can explore in the store.
