Terms

Website & Program Terms

These terms apply to the Mentor Psychology website, member platform, educational courses, resources, events and online program purchases. Clinical psychology services are also subject to separate informed-consent and practice terms.

Website and educational material

Public articles, resources and course material are provided for education and self-development. They are not a substitute for individual psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medical care or emergency assistance.

Psychology services

Psychological services are provided under separate clinical arrangements, including informed consent, privacy, fees, cancellation arrangements and professional obligations. Creating a website account or purchasing educational content does not itself establish a psychologist-client relationship.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Member access is personal and may not be shared, resold or used to provide access to another person.

Courses and resources

Course access, duration and inclusions are described at the point of enrolment or purchase. Educational content may be updated over time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchase of a course or resource grants a personal, non-transferable right to use the material and does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Payments, cancellations and refunds

Prices and payment terms are shown before purchase. Any specific cancellation or refund conditions applying to a program, event or service will be provided at or before purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian consumer law.

Events

Event dates, capacity and delivery arrangements may change where reasonably necessary. Where an event is full, registration may be placed on a waitlist. Material changes will be communicated using the contact details supplied with the registration.

Acceptable use

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, another member's account, private files, administrative systems or course content; interfere with service operation; or reproduce or distribute protected material beyond the permission provided.

Availability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website and member platform available and secure, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Planned maintenance, provider outages or security events may occasionally affect access.

Legal review: These terms are a working production draft. Final payment, cancellation and clinical-service terms will be reviewed against Mentor Psychology's operating arrangements before public sales are enabled.
