Psychology services

Depression and low mood

Individual psychological work exploring low mood, daily functioning, relationships and personal meaning.

What we explore

Low mood can affect motivation, routines, relationships and the way we view ourselves. An initial conversation explores what has been happening, the wider context and the support being sought.

What the work involves

Psychological work may include examining patterns of thinking and behaviour, coping, emotional experience and everyday routines. The approach is selected following assessment rather than assumed from a label.

Online sessions and suitability

Sessions are delivered online for people in Melbourne, Victoria and elsewhere in Australia, subject to suitability and professional requirements. The service is male-focused, not male-exclusive. The first step is to discuss the support being sought and whether this setting is appropriate.
